Two ways to help MSNP!
1. Micro-volunteering
Just because you can’t show up for a work day or volunteer doesn’t mean you can’t help, even in a small way. Try these three things:
Pick up garbage as you see it and place it in the garbage cans.

Help line the paths with branches that you see that have fallen.

Pull the English ivy, an invasive species.

2. Park Beautification Days
Our regular workday is the first Saturday of each month, Noon to 2 PM between October and May. During June, July, August and September, we meet 10 AM to Noon. Come to front entrance 4150 Briarcliff Rd.
MSNP’s native woods restoration workdays are led by a Georgia Native Plant Society volunteer and focus on removing invasive species (ivy, privet, Japanese holly, etc).
No special knowledge is necessary; you may learn something while you’re enjoying the camaraderie and improving the park.
Dress for yardwork; bring gloves and a weeder or hand pruner if you have one; and be prepared to sign-in twice (DeKalb & GNPS).
