There are a lot of things to do while you are at Park.

Children’s Play Area

Small children’s playset at the start of the park on a bed of soft bark. Immediately to the north of this playset is a medium sized open field for activities, as well.

Visit the Remains of Mary Scott’s Homestead

Follow the trail down to the bottom of the hill and then work your way over the right. You should be able to see the chimneys still standing. From there, you can walk beyond the chimneys to a back way to the creek that ends MSNP Beach. Take note of the sitting area.

Walk the .5 Mile Nature Path

There is a gravel loop path around the park with plants marked out. Please stay on the paths. There are some well-trod ancillary paths as well to explore. You can make this a pretty nice 1 mile hike, as well. While you there, maybe try some Micro-volutneering!

Enjoy MSNP Beach and Creek

The creek water is non-potable, so please don’t drink, and don’t let pets drink.

Okay, it isn’t a real beach, but it could be. Located at the bottom of the hill by the creek, this sandy area is a great place for a picnic, or just to reflect and meditate. MSNP also includes some of the far side of the creek to explore. Please remember to not leave any trash.

Look along the path for markers of different plants

Explore the Fauna and Flora

There are lots of activies for children and adults!
