Two ways to help MSNP!
1. Micro-volunteering
Just because you can’t show up for a work day or volunteer doesn’t mean you can’t help, even in a small way. Try these three things:
Pick up garbage as you see it and place it in the garbage cans.

Help line the paths with branches that you see that have fallen.

Pull the English ivy, an invasive species.

2. Park Beautification Days
Workdays are the first Saturday of each month. During the summer from 10:00AM – Noon and the rest of the year from 2:00-4:00PM
MSNP’s native woods restoration workdays are led by a Georgia Native Plant Society volunteer and focus on removing invasive species (ivy, privet, Japanese holly, etc).
No special knowledge is necessary; you may learn something while you’re enjoying the camaraderie and improving the park.
Dress for yardwork; bring gloves and a weeder or hand pruner if you have one; and be prepared to sign-in twice (DeKalb & GNPS).
